A Humble Beginning...
I grew up with dogs & in a family of dog lovers even as a small child I was fond of dogs... When I reached my teen years I've beed dreaming of having my first pure bred dog that when I got Dagul (my 1st black labrador) then decided on having a small hobby kennel. It was May 2004 when Barking Edge was established with 2 of the breeds I loved --- Chow Chows & Rottweilers
My first Rottweiler Rockfire of Kitana "AMBER" came into my life after I loss my 2 Labradors, "DAGUL" & "CHOCOLATE" then came Janela of Haus Limbas "JUDAY" whom I bought as a pet at home not knowing that she will start my life in showing dogs.
Barking Edge Chosen One "UNO" was my first home-bred Chow Chow who really made me proud as a puppy.
A dream came true... on December 22, 2005 my very first import & my foundation arived Ph Ch Chikoo's Ha She Jin Zi "JEWEL" a Blue female Chow Chow from Canada. Thank you to Jo Ann Mataseje of Chikoo Chows for the kindness, guidance & this girl.
I am pleased to welcome another addition to my family... Rossy White Vodka "HANNO" a cream boy from Hungary who came into my life May 19, 2006. Many thanks to Eva of Rossy Chows.
My dogs are my life... they are my best friends that I really treasure so much!!! Enjoy our site! Thanks for dropping in and spending some time.
